Please don't. The torsion system is still under full tension, and forcing the door can snap cables or drop the door. This is one of the two failures (with broken springs) where we genuinely recommend not touching it.
Often not. Low-speed contact frequently damages only the bottom section, track, and rollers. We see enough of these to give you a fast, honest verdict on repair vs. replace — and paperwork for insurance if it's claimable.
